With the season in full swing and a warmer spell of weather the YG’s are looking to find the early season form which saw them win their first four matches.
The last month has seen two cancellations due to the weather with Giggleswick School and York University, and Borderers unfortunately unable to get a side together
We have lost matches to The West Riding ( a low scoring game ) and to The Cheshire Gents and The Halifax Nomads - both by 5 wickets in well fought matches that could easily have resulted in draws.
In between the club hosted its annual 6-a-side competition which provided to be a thoroughly enjoyable day for all who took part.
