Another fine performance saw the YG's beat the York Wanderers under Mediterranean like skies at Escrick on Sunday 6th May.
Problems with traffic meant a delayed start with the Wanderers batting first. They soon were in trouble with some excellent bowling by YG's, and struggled to 87-8. A.J Clark and Wayne Goldstein both taking three wickets apiece. However some positive lower order batting helped them reach 152-9 dec after, 48 overs.
In response the YG's raced to the target off just 28 overs scoring 154 for 4 with Phil Holland 64 not out. The YG's have made a really good start to the 2018 season and play Sheffield University Staff next Sunday.
